I recently purchased a Fujistu MHH2064AT 6gb 2.5" external harddrive that came in a Norwood Micro 2.5" case. My problem is I can't access it. When I plug it in (usb). It says found new hardware and lists the name and model #, but I can't save to it, open it up, format it etc. I shows it in the device manager as working but I can't access it. I imagine it should show up in the first window of my computer with all the other drives, but it is not there. Do I need software for it? I am running windows 2k. I couldn't find any downloads for it that will work. I would really like to be able to use it. Am I stupid and missing something? Thanks for your help!!

Do you have service pack 4 installed? If that drive uses USB2 then you'll need service pack 4 to use it (until SP4 win2k had no USB2 support, unless USB2 support was added during a Windows update).
