hey there, i am thinking about buying an external hard drive for my laptop.
does anyone know of any good external hard drives?
i want a 7,200 RPM HDD.
if i was to install all of my games on this hard drive, would i be able to plug it into ANY pc and play the games on there (as long as the computer is of the right specs, obviously) ??
 
maxtor makes good ones for pretty cheap. as for the games...i dont think you can just plug in the usb and have the games pop up...you might have to reinstall them on the other computer.
 
Do you want a 2.5" or 3.5" in drive? 2.5" 7200 rpm drives are on the expensive side. Personally, I buy separate drives and enclosures so I know exactly what I'm getting, and it's usually cheaper.
