wolfeking banned May 21, 2011 #3 what OS are you running? Linux, XP, Vista, 7, OSX? Seems that you somehow have the external 3.5mm jack disabled, or it could be busted itself.

salvage-this Active Member May 21, 2011 #6 go to sound preferences and select the hardware tab. What do you have? Also check what device is set up as default under the output tab.
