Extracting pictures from Powerpoint

Is it possible to extract individual pictures from a PPS file (Powerpoint slide show)?

yea you should be able to goto save as and select JPG of GIF and save the slide

you do have to be in power point and not the viewer

Extracting pictures

I have Office 97. I opend Powerpoint, then opened the pps file and move on to the picture I wanted. But the Save As menu seem to save only the whole pps file, and not the picture being veiwed. Have I missed something? Right-clicking the picture did not help either. More help!
