Hello. Me again haha.

What's the best out of these 2 computers.
Ps dont say they are both crap lol.
What I want to do on them: Play basic games like Dawn of War 2 and some newer games on lower settings.


This one costs $300 NZ, which is about 240 USD. Remember that, this one doesnt come with a OS though comes with a trial, but it may even it out with its specs (Gfx card etc).

This one costs $350 NZ, which is about 290 or so US. Remember this one comes with an OS, but I dont think its specs are quite as good.

Also remember that I will prob need to use xp or vista other the win8 trial ends. Though with the 1 with the 9800 I could just used the win7 provided.

EDIT: FOUND A NEW PC THAT MAY BE BETTER (NOT SURE WHAT GRAPHICS CARD, CPU AND MOTHERBOARD IT HAS THOUGH HE MAY UPDATE SOON).

As I said above, they may add what the gfx card etc is soon. Though it does come with an OS.
+ I can offer for it without the monitor and try pick it up for 300-350 or so.

Looks like both listings have ended, but the Intel one with the 6850 was the better of the two.
 
Yeah I know it says its ended but the seller gave me an offer of the prices stated. You guys have said that the one with the 6850 was better but it doesnt have an OS. So saying that keep in mind the price of the os etc as im thinking both price wise and capability. Also after the trial runs out I may need to use either win xp or vista. Btw could the one with the 9800 gts play games like dow 2 and WarZ-lower settings. TY
 
Yeah the 9800 one would be all right, I have a 9800 GT in an older rig of mine and it even plays Dirt 3 OK so you should be OK.

I'd still get the one with the 6850 though. You can get Windows 8 pretty cheaply I think, maybe look into that?

Id be fine with windows 7 tbh if thats cheaper. What about the rests of the parts like the processor etc. By the way man thank you so much for helping. Would using win xp or vista affect it a lot though?
 
Windows 8 is cheaper than 7 I think? Not sure.

Both CPUs are decent, I reckon the Core 2 Duo may be faster though. Anyway, you want the best GPU possible, and that is the 6850.

Ok man. Win 8 is 100 dollars. The computer with the 9800 is350 and the 6670 is 300 therefore is 50 dollars more. So if I were to buy windows 8, which is 100 dollars, with the 6670 one it would actually only be 50 dollars more than the 9800 one, not 100. Thank u so much mann.
So is it worth 50 dollars more.

I'm confused here, there isn't a 6670 one, I think you meant 6850?

Yes the 6850 is worth the extra cost over the 9800 or whatever it is.

Oh sorry that was a mistype. How bout the new one I posted, its about 350 NZ, though it has a 9800 as well, but with an OS already. (specs are at the bottom).

6850 would be better choice. It's not gonna play everything max settings but you should be able to play pretty much anything at the very least low settings and I'm guessing medium to high depending on the game.
 
So then its settled guys, the 6850 is clearly the better one as said by you guys!

Hey one last thing, is the one with the 6850 actually worth $250 lol.
I am so sorry for constantly asking heaps of questions, but to gain knowledge about computers I need to ask questions haha ; ).

It is a tad overpriced, but still not a bad system at all. The graphics card is what makes it. I'd get it.
 
Cool. Thanks man! I could always upgrade it eventually though haha! ;DD Ima get it, or I may just wait for Boxing-Day specials though IDK if they do computers on Boxing day lmao. But awesome! TYSM! Every computer is overpriced in NZ lolz ;D
