Extremely annoying Skyrim bug

Dunno if this has happened to anyone else, but it's incredibly frustrating. Entered the Companions building this morning and immediately Farkas initiated conversation with me. Now he's doing so CONSTANTLY. I can't move 10 feet without him bringing up dialogue. What's worse is he now follows me everywhere I go and because of it I'm unable to fast travel, wait, or really do anything because he interrupts everything.

He's unkillable, saving and restarting didn't fix it, xbox live update hasn't fixed it, nothing I've tried has fixed it.
 
Only had the one save and auto saves after it happened.

Searched all over with no help, but apparently its common and having a bounty when you talk to him causes it.

I did manage to fix it though. Went and paid off all my bounties like some people suggested, did nothing. However knocking him on his ass with Unrelenting Force shout made him attack me which cleared the bug. Fast traveled away, then back and I can continue the quests now.
