Extremely Weird......

look at the top left corner of the desktop..... it has tiny white square. also theres like tearing small shreds on the screen.... at first i thought it has it on the desktop.... but it isnt! it is on the monitor itself! i scroll page up and down and it show..... what doe sthis mean? video card overheat? monitor problem? plz help!!! also insid ethe shreded holes is like someone is watching! like its moving.....

- X850XT pci-express catalyst 8.1
- xp home

That white thing is far too large to be a missing pixel, plus it shows up in the SS which would be impossible unless the VGA was actually buffering and rendering it. I dunno what it is, anyway, maybe it's a part of that desktop wallpaper. Try changing it.

I have no idea what he means with the "shredded" bits. Try hitting the auto/adjust button on the monitor. Is this CRT or LCD?
 
the tearing shreded dots..... turns out that it only apear on the monitor itself not the screenshot. it is like a shreded tiny dots and insid ethe hole u can see it moving.

the white square at the top left corner of the desktop...... turns out that im not the only one that has it. someone told me after update the latest version of ati driver catalyst 8.1 it have it. after disable the ati tray then it disapear.

after i disable the ati tray.... i dont see the white quare nor the shreded dots anymore

is this really ati latest driver problem? i hope so....




oh forgot to tell.... my monitor is LCD. dell ultrasharp 17" LCD.
