When i run the demo all that happened is mozzila pops up with a page to buy the game..the demo doesn't run. how to i play the demo?

The download was like 700mb, it cant be just that :(

Make sure all your drivers and such are up to date... I don't think it's a problem with the download as it wouldn't of installed to begin with if it was...

yeah, same thing happened to me. i dont know wtf is up.

did you download it form demoplanet.com?
 
Heh never had a problem with the demo (got mine from 3dgamer if that helps) .. try running the executable direcly?

and I solved my problem, I got a complatible video card LOL! I should have read the Dx9.0 card or high requirment, good thing i just picked up a Geforce 6200 Oced 256bm video card.


and is it just me or is the game freaky? LOL!, everyone said things ike HL2 were scary, HL2 was nothing... I think tht freakish little girl just scary thats all lol, you go get on al adder and BOOM she's in front of you then disinegrates...

1. If the game didnt work then they um.. wouldnt be able to sell it so well
2. The demo is alllowed not to work because well, depending on when you download it ... it not the final product... so it not entirely done yet

The game is very freaky :) Kinda gets boring the 5th time through tho :P
 
I got creeped out by ravenholm in HL2... Then I played the demo of FEAR. WOW. I want it so bad but I dont think my mom will let me get a game with a picture of a psychopathic girl on the cover :P
