f1 2011 - flickering/twitch

just reinstalled f1 2011 on my new rig and in the loading screens the writing is mirrored and flicking further up the screen. and when im in the drivers cabin his head keeps twitching and looking around when im not doing anything.

temps are running alittle high, until i get another cooler.
 
fresh install of xp earlier today and used the drivers that came on the disc's with the motherboard and gpu.
casecom 500w. Ran fine on my old rig which used the same powersupply but the rest was alot lower spec.
 
My guess is on the power supply, however you can rule out the drivers:

download the latest from here:

http://support.amd.com/us/gpudownload/Pages/index.aspx

Do not install yet, just save it to somewhere that you can remember the location of.

Download Driver Sweeper from here

save and install, don't open yet.

Go to Start > Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs. Uninstall AMD Vision (I think that is the name for CCC now, whatever it comes under, uninstall the AMD software). Do not restart when asked

Go to Start > All Programs > Phyxion.net > Driver Sweeper

Check Graphics - AMD and then run. Restart when prompted.

Install the drivers from the first download you did, restart when asked. Try playing again

If a component isn't getting clean power or sufficient power it can cause instabilities or anomalies, in the case of a graphics card, strange graphics glitches. The fact that it is a lower quality unit makes the fault seem more likely to fall at that component.

Failing that, it will either be graphics drivers, other drivers or some sort of incompatibility/incorrect settings
