F5 is not refreshing my browser

Hello, thanks for viewing/answering my thread,

The title essentially says it all. I just recently got a new laptop, and it's wonderful except for one thing, the F5 key is not refreshing my browser pages, quite annoying.

If anyone knows where to edit these hotkeys or any other suggestions, please let me know.

Some laptops are stupid and require you to hit the fn + F key in order to do any of the actual F-actions. If you don't do that, then it just does the pre-set manufacturer macro assigned to that key.

Okay, good to know.

Would you know if there is any way of altering these macros?
 
Alternating, I don't know. Disabling them might be a possibility by uninstalling any kind of quick key or quick launch/control center software.
