Factory Reset Concern

Thinking of doing a factory reset because of the tons of random programs I have installed but I was wandering what would happen with my GPU ( it's a AMD r7 360 ) because if i'm understanding this right it will uninstall my drivers and such because the gpu did not come with the PC originally and therefore it will screw everything up. Am I correct, and if so is there a way around it?

Windows should install some default drivers it comes with the OS. While it won't provide you with the optimal performance at that point, you can proceed to download the latest drivers off AMD's website and install them.

You have probably thought of this but anyway. if you do a factory reset you will lose all your personal files so make sure that you have backed them up somewhere else. Also a factory reset will put all the manufacturer junk, that came with your computer, back on as well. The manufacturer junk probably contributes to 50% or more of your random junk programs.

Na that's a pile of rubbish as well as far the manufacturer's junk is concerned. That will get rid of partial files left after deletion. orphan files and that sort of stuff. But the junk that manufacturers put on are full programs and adverts. they aren't going to let you get rid of that stuff easily. The best way is to do a clean install using a copy of whatever Windows flavour you are using. That way you only get the junk that Microsoft bundles with Windows. Still not good but way better than all that Manufacturer's stuff on top of Microsoft's junk.
