Kind of a long story so bear with me. So last week I got a new motherboard/cpu and I tried putting in my current hard drive which is a Western Digital. It booted up, made it to the Windows logo for about a second and then got a BSOD for about second then would reboot and give me the option to launch Windows normally or start Windows repair. So I pegged it to the fact that my old motherboard was a Gigabyte and the new one is an MSI so I have to re-install Window. So I found another hard drive which is the exact same one and loaded Windows on to it. It was working fine for about 5 days until last night, I did a restart and it did the exact same thing, made it to the Windows logo for about 5 seconds then BSOD. So I just figured this board is a POS so I put my old motherboard back in and the same thing. So I did a system repair or whatever and it didn't work. So after that I put the new motherboard back in to reinstall Windows again then it did a check disk repair and now it's working. I am really confused, I'm really considering taking this board back and getting a new hard drive and reinstalling Windows on my old system. What do you guys think? Sorry for the long confusing post.
