Fallen Behind Programming Student - Advice/Help. Quick reply :)

Hi, I have been studying in a java programming course. I have currently fallen majorly behind. I know some very basic programming, ie classes, loops, variables, methods etc. But since returning to the course they are now on GUI's and inheritance. With no previous programming experience before, new elements dont come naturally or quickly to me.

I have exams for this course in about 6-7 weeks, do you think it would be possible to catchup on this work if I do about 10 hours a week on it. Or about 2-3 hours a day?

Really need some advice/backing that I can catchup with a bit of work from people who know what they are talking about. :)

You could def catch up, the same thing happened to me... you could always use online resources but if your at a university you could always use the tutors

tutors would be a good way to go. I would also recommend thenewboston.com.

I actually learned how to work with GUI's better through his tutorials than through my Java class. Same goes for inheritance. If those are the only two subjects you've missed out on (instructors tend to spend a while on inheritance) than you shouldn't have a problem catching up.
Also, feel free to use the Official Java thread to post any specific questions you might have.
