Fan blinks sometimes

I have an old machine, Q6600 to be specific and I noticed the back LED fan will flicker. Is this normal for a dying LED or fan? I didn't think LEDs would crap out after 6 or so years. It has a relatively new Antec Gamer 550 PSU. It's just the one fan.

Yes, it's normal for LEDs of that style. Or it's faulty wiring. Either way, just get a new fan if you want the light.
