Fan conectors...

My case fans came with molex conector and a 3 pin conector. I've plugged in both. Which do I need? The 3 pin conector only had one wire going to it. is the pin conector for controlling the fans or for power? My powersuply also came with a 3 pin conector. Do I need to plug this into the motherboard? Sorry if this is sort of a dumb question...

You can attach to either the 4 pin molex or 3 pin on teh mobo...if say the wire from teh fan isnt long enough then u use the connector and connnect it to the psu, and should only have one yellow wire going to the motherboard.

ye but i would recomend putting it in the mobo via the 3 pin connector as i would save my molex con for other stuff
