Fan controller mod

I'm not exactly sure what you're asking, but basically you want to control two fans with a single controller? That would be yes and no... It can be done but most have wattage limitations, and might burn out if you try and control too many fans at once. Two probably wouldn't be a problem, but yeah...it could do something nasty :P

Ok, here is the scenario:
I have 4 fans that are great, but they are really loud. I wont mind if it is loud during games, but when im surfing the web or something it is annoying. Is there a fan controller that can support 4 4pin (molex) fans?
 
When you said 2 pin fan controller, it kind of threw me off, but I was just being stupid ^^;

To start, I wouldn't connect such a controller to the motherboard. It's not made ot handle that many watts.

A simple mod you could do is run the fans off a 5v line rather than the 12v line.

Sooo, you have one like I had... It has like 2 power wires, two wires going to a knob, and another one for RPM? I don't think there's a way to mod this. Everything's done in the fan. Now you could run two fans off one knob without a problem, but they both have to be alike...(as in using the same wiring, not just the standard 2 or 3 pin power)
 
Allright, scrap what i had before.

What would be a good fan controller that supports 4 fans, that are all 4pin molex? I would like to buy one to controll all the fans in my case.
 
LOL...well, it depends on what you want. There are basic ones, automatic ones, etc... I'd suggest just looking on newegg for something like what you want then looking for reviews on it.
