Fan Error

Can everyone help me?.
I'm using IBM centrino 2.1, anytime when i turn on It's alway appear FAN ERROR. but chip fan are still working. When I press Escape button, it will be OK. if I do not do that, it will be error and after that shutdown.
 
So you get this error before windows even starts to boot(IE during POST?) Does the fan actually come on, or did it ever come on when you first powered up the machine? And you say you can get it to work by pressing ESC, does the fan ever come on while in windows?

This could be a bad fan or even a bad fan controller... I remember hearing about similar issues with my laptop, usally resulting in bad motherboards/fan controllers.

If it's still under warranty, go on and let someone check it out...
 
This is secondhand laptop, so waranty was expire date.
