Fan for H70

Hey all, I am thinking about using my tax refund to go towards an FX chip and a H70 cooler. For the H70, can I use any type of fan on it? Are there ones better suited for it?

I am thinking of doing a push/pull config. Would I screw the fan to the side of my case, then screw on the radiator to the fan, and then the second fan onto the other side of the radiator? Thanks for the help.

well the H70 already has 2 120mm fans in push-pull if im right. but i think you could replace the corsair fans with 2 Cooler Master Excaliburs dont know if you can get it but here its like 15 euros each, so maybe 12 bucks

no as long as it fits on it doesnt matter.

Completely and totally wrong. The fans are the only thing moving air through the radiator. If you have fans with less pressure, and lower RPM, your cooling performance will suffer. If you have fans with higher static pressure and/or higher RPM, they'll cool better as the hot air is being moved through the radiator faster, meaning you'll get a lower temp on your CPU, and less heat dumped into your room from the PC. Faster/more efficient fans are always better.

The trade-off is noise. Most people will want a balance of noise and cooling performance. Some specialised roles (like audio production) require less noise. If you have a small room that heats up easily, you might want better performance at the cost of more noise, to keep the room cooler.

Make sense?

yeah this is really what i wanted to say, but was in class and couldnt really type a whole story during photography. but i think it is normal that someone would get a higher rpm and pressure fan for better cooling
