Fan off of video card?

I have a gf4 mx440 and I was wondering if its okay with the fan off. The fan came off and wont go on anymore, I've been using the card without no fan for 3 days now and everything is completely normal. Will this damage anything soon?

i've seen them with and without fans, but they've always had a heatsink. if you dont have a heatsink i dont think it would last too long
