Hi,

Does anybody know of an 80mm fan vent that I can screw onto the fan on the front of my case, in the UK please :)

I know of Ebay, I've looked, I want to know if there's any places that sell them in the UK, as in a store on the internet.

you mean those tube like thing that came with antec cases?

Yeah, like a tube that you can screw onto the fan itself...

I don't know about the Antec cases though, but I hope you know what I mean dude :D

they will well with hsf that sucks air out through that tube so that other wind currents will not bother by it is like a one way trip for heat to go out of the case. they dont work well with zalmans 9500/9700 that is, if you still have space after installing that and the tube :D

Well, I have an 80mm fan at the front and there a rather large gap between it and the CPU cooler, and I thought putting a vent there would lead it toward the cooler and help reduce the temps a little more.

Take a look at the pics in my signature to see what I mean, it's easier than explaining it :P

Dude, You're awesome, thanks! :D

Which of those two would be better do you think, see the pictures in my sig :)

Thanks again! :D

Also, you think if I added another fan at the end or it, it'd work, or would it be better to move the fan to the other end, so the tube is up to the edge of the case and the fan is inside?

:D

Stacked fans are not good. More often than not you get a lot of noise and no better airflow. One fan at either end is enough.

I don't know, there's only 1 way to find out and for <$10 it's not much of a loss. I don't really like air guides, I tend to just get a bigger fan :D

I don't really understand what you are trying to do. Are you trying to vent the air from the front intake right to your HSF?

Uh Hu, Yup, that's what I'm trying to do, I think it's coming in and then just dissipating into the surrounding area and not doing much.

Out of the two that have been linked to, which do you think would do a better job? Thanks :)
