Fans fans and more fans

Hello, recently i posted up about my heat sink not being attached properly by the DUMB ASSSES in the shop....anyway finaly got it sorted and all but now i have a small problem.

My processor is ideling temp of about 40 and Gets Pushed to 60 during gameing....so my question

if i attach a fan or two to my case, will it make a difference, and how difficlt is it to do this?

and also on a side note will over clocking be possible (I have an asus mobo which allows me to just over clock it by selecing it in the menu of bios, how idiot proof is that?) or will it shorten the life of my already overly heat exposed processor?

what CPU do you have? if it is an AMD then your running hot. if its an Intel its not too bad.

it really depends. you can have better airflow but it would only lower down the temp a few degrees maby not depending on the air temp in your room.
also it isnt too difficult to install fans. all it is, is just screwing them in.

Its an intel. 3 GHz

Seriously, only a few degrees? (45c at the moment...this could turn into a compulsive disorder) would it make more of a difference when its doing heavy deuty stuff like gameing?

not really, no, you have to bare in mind, that your running an intel, those temps arent that bad, my ig in the sig idles at 43-45*c, rises to around 56*c under load. i do have an aftermarket cooler on it though, do you have stock?

ya only a few degrees. im not sure if it will make more of a difference but it will help b/c the fans would get the bad(hot) air out and the good(cold) air in.

if by stock do i have any fans then yes.i was going to put them in anyway, but i wanted some opinions. Would there be some optimal way to attatch them?
