fans

I'm not sure whether this is right, but I think the radius of a circle is from the centre to the edge, and diameter is from edge to edge crossing through the centre (basically double the radius ;))...

:)

I would believe it would be diagonal, the same as monitors. Fans are measured in millimeteres (mm) just in case you didn't know.

as far as i know, a 80mm Fan, has a diameter of 80mm.
wich means, the distance from 1 screw to another is also 80mm. (not the diagonal ones ;) )

look at the top 2 holes. as you see, the distance between them is exacly the fan diameter :)

Do these Panasonic PanaFlo fans with the Hydro Wave bearings out last the more traditional fans with ball and or sleeve bearings? Or is it more of a marketing ploy?

id get some with keramic bearings :) anyway,.. no matter what, the Fans usually last a PC-lifetime, so i dont think it actually matters

Yeh, unless the fan is actually faulty or broken when you get it then it should last a fairly long time, and for the price, ehich isnt very much, its not really a big thing if they break in 2 years time is it??
