I couldn't believe the system specs on this. I thought this was a joke till other sites had the same thing.

I like how UBI always sets up their games to support people with lower end rigs. Sort of the opposite on Crysis which they blamed poor sales to "pirating" haha.

Here is a thought tho what AMD model is equal to a E6600? X2 6000+ or X2 6400+?

personaly i love when they bring out games that realy test the performace of our computers, I paid alot for my current build and id like to run it at its full capacity.
So bring far cry 2 on, looks amazing

I suppose here they kinda optimized the engine. well, they had a lot of time to do so after all.. (I mean, how long has crysis been released?) definately will get this game, I liked the first far cry, so i think this one will be nice too.

I'm expecting bugs, mainly due to the reputation that Ubisoft has when it comes to testing their games for issues. The Rainbow Six Vegas games in particular are riddled with bugs despite patches.

gee great. i really hope my 8800gt and 3ghz e4500 will work all-right...

what do you guys think, med/high? when i bought it the 8800gt was the shit then two weeks later every game was too much for it :(

Me too. And not just Rainbow Six, every recent Ubisoft published game has been riddled with crippling bugs. In Silent Hunter 4 up until patch 1.2 (iirc) you couldn't press the A key in game without a crash to desktop (this was easily fixable but it shouldn't have passed QA at least 2 times). I remember when Ubisoft put out nicely polished games, now they put out junk.

Also, those requirements aren't exactly low, they just aren't requiring you to have a computer that wont exist for 5 years to run it well.

I agree with the bugs. All Prince of Persia games (from Ubisoft) have tons of glitches. At least for the GameCube, not sure for PC since they have patches and stuff.

PoP on PC, no glitches here. :)

Well, I'm still in the process of investing on a new rig. Hopefully I get to play this soon.

I have np with that either BUT I don't like when they make a game solely for those types of rigs. Hurts their sales which they blame on "pirating" like they did on Crysis.
While lower end rigs could play crysis it looks horrible and the key points of the game (destroying buildings) impossible to do I have issues with it.

I can't wait.

I disagree, the first time I palyed through crysis, I had everything on low (apart from water and physics) and it still looked great.

I agree its not as good as High/Very High but it was still good.
