No Ubisoft, did I ever tell YOU the definition of insanity?

Well, you see, you make video games with the PC platform as your foundation when you start off. Then, as time goes by, you exclude PC gaming more and more, until you eventually just port games over to the PC. Then, you use your PC background to justify ripping off people by putting loads of DRM on your software, and doing a sorry excuse of a shitty job in utilizing anything PC related (Eyefinity/Surround, SLI/CrossFire, Advance Graphic Options). You keep doing the same thing, over and over and over and over again, while we keep thinking your next game will be different. Did I ever tell you the definition of insanity?

Well it can't possibly get any worse that is for sure. I have little hope for the Far Cry line but we will see what happens.


BTW does anyone else get bothered when they dual-screen game with the guy playing? They focus on this "athlete" like he is doing something massively awesome instead of giving us a full screen of the item we actually care about. It seems every year they do this on E3 trailers.

I thought the same thing the first time I heard about Crysis 2. How disappointed I was with that game :( and I much prefer the original now...

Likewise with Far Cry and Far Cry 2.

Hopefully for Crysis 3 and Far Cry 3 they both redeem themselves from horrible sequels :cool:
 
Looks good,I just hope it alot better than FC2,and has a decent multiplayer.
 
I just wish that developers created games solely for the PC according to it's abilities, and not just make it for the consoles.
 
The problem for them is that doing that actually takes time and resources. For example, textures. Rendering two sets of textures (eg high resolution ones for pc and lower res for consoles) takes a large amount of time, for them it's cost effective just to use one set. Sucks, but that's how it is :(
 
Far Cry 2 was terrible... Graphics and all that were fine but the game play sucked... It was a total grind fest in the worse possible way...

Made worse by the fact that everyone was out to kill you, stealth didn't work, and there was no such thing as darkness. The game would have been much more immersive and enjoyable if every repetitive task had some function, and wasn't just a repetitive task with no reward. Or if the missions were varies in some small way...
 
Looking forward to Far Cry 3 got all the games in the series so far and will not be missing out on this one. Looks like Ubisoft are going to make up for Far Cry 2 and get their Fans from the original back.
