Faster DVD encoding program?

I'm looking for a faster program to convert mpg to dvd. Right now i'm using the MedioStream NeoDVD program that came with my dvd burner. Also how much of an decrease would i seee in encoding time if i went from 512 - 1 gig ram?

I use DVD-lab for DVD authoring http://www.mediachance.com/dvdlab/
I have no idea how it compares to NeoDVD, but you should give it a try. I wouldn't expect a great decrease in encoding time with more ram unless you use a few programs that require a lot of system resources at the same time as authoring the mpgs.

I use sony's dvd architect 2.0, it takes me about 4 hours to convert aprox 5 hours of video into the correct form to burn. but thats really not a good comparison bc we have different machines
