Fastest video convertor?

Does anybody know the fastest video convertor from avi to wmv format. I have already tried this list:
Prism
Ojosoft
Formatfactory
Anyvc
Totalvc
Any other faster than above for avi to wmv conversion i am using format factory now days it takes 17 minutes to convert 800 mb avi to wmv good quality and 1.09 gb converted size.

Encoding to another format has always been time consuming which ever program ya use. I would be more concerned about the quality afterwards. If ya want to get better time then a faster computer.

I have a c2d processor with 2 gb ram and i am satisfied with the result but the time is the main factor that i want to reduce.
