Faxing from PC

Can anyone provide me with a software with which I can send and receive fax on my computer. I have high speed broadband connection. Thx

Not that this is exactly what you want to do, but why not use a free fax service? Some online companies use internet services. The faxes come in as email attachements, and the digital copies of the ones that you send are stored on-line.

That way you can avoid the whole phone issue since everything is done online.

Otherwise you are going to need to connect you pc to a phone line via a modem, in this case windows has the software built in

If you have XP there's a fax console built right in.
Control Panel -> Add or Remove Programs -> Add/Remove Windows Components -> Fax Services

true but like i said you need a phone line and a modem (old school modem)

Oops. I didn't realize you couldn't do this via broadband. Sorry 'bout that. I'm clueless about broadband because I'm still on dialup. My sincere apologies.
