FEAR problem

Hey, well for the past week i have been trying to play fear, but for some reason after 5 min of playing the whole computer restarts, at first i thought it was because of heat but my computer is pretty cool so now i dont know why it crashes, anyone know why

try running the game inw indows 98 compatibility mode i had to do this as well...right click the shortcut and click properties and set it from there
