am i the only one who is scared SHITLESS while playing FEAR??? i mean come on, its just a game... but jesus..... full surround sound??!?!?!?!?!!!?!? that was some scary shit man....
 
I agree, its a freakey game, that girl...so freaky.. you go down a ladder and all the sudden shes in front of you then disolves! wtf! And peopel said HL2 was scary, that is NOTHING compared to f.e.a.r fear is freaky
 
I still need to play that game...

and Motoxrdude, why do you have a P4 3.2Ghz HT as your backup cpu? its much better than a Sempron 2300+.
 
im going to maxx AA and AFF and see how she looks, if she cant handle it at 1600x1200, than ill get another 6800GS for SLI and a 200GB Sata1 HDD, insted of the two 250GB HDDs
 
ahh! i dont like scary games! i play quake 4, i have to turn it off everyonce in a while cause i hate when things pop out. Same with hl2...

now with FEAR......my friend has it (hes no sissy unlike me!) and he decided to show me the scariest part...well yeah, WAY to much poppin out and dripping blood....
 
dude!!! my system that runs under 80F just overheated while overclocked to 2.9GHz with the videocard at 520//1.20, while playing FEAR at 19FPS with 8xAFF and 16xAA.... w00t

Your going to spend that much money just so you can play F.E.A.R at max setting's and res? Where do you get that much money! Donat some to me and my crap machine! I could barly afford my new 40pin 80wire ide cables!

Uhhhhh, i am a true amd fan:D Actually i got that computer free but i cant get the damn case open! It is poprivited 4 times and i drilled them out but it still wont open!
 
OMFG i kno what you mean kusama. it is a frky game and after new years a few of my cousins played it late at night with all the lights turned off, b/c they wanted to see if it was scary as i said it was. everyone was frked and you could hear their screams(there was some girls watching so ya, the guys would just go OMFG and jump out the room) lol it was pretty funny.(i was playing poker w/ the rest of FAM so i didnt get to see what they got scared at)

hahah, my friend thinks he is a macho man, and i told him how scarey it was and he just looked at me like im insane. So he spent the night and played the game. He jumped but didnt scream. He was talking in his sleep that night and kinda twicthing. He was saying stuff like "little girl im sorry!!! Dont kill me! I have school tomorrow!" lol very random but funny!
 
Never screamed, And depends on what you call "jumping" I flinch alot when suprised like when you go down the ladder and when you turn around to get on it and the girl is satnding there, just the element of suprise, if i knew it was ocming or saw her before or walk up to it it would have been fine, if there was a big tree wth a face on it i was have flinched lol

also, to the rest of the thread:

i havent ever screamed, but dayum! if i havent ever jumped! never out of my seat, but kinda like, sit stright up for a second, lol

ya thats what gives this game the scar factor or its freakyness. all the things that make me scared are the little suprises like when all the lights go out and the door closes right when your about to go in it.
