file cant be moved

im tyring to tidy up my desktop and there is a folder on it which is winar and i cant move it as its being used by another application. i would like to move this folder to the program folder or somewhere along the lines of there as i just want my program icons on the desktop, has anyone else had a similar problem...

also i have tried to delete some music from windows media player and i dont have permission. has anyone else had this problem? thanks in advance!!! :confused:

and one question though...
do you have admin rights ?
 
Usually a file cant be deleted or renamed because it is in use. It is running on the system, or there is a program which is using it. Yes there could be an error if you delete a file being used by a program, but because it is a winrar file... it will not be anything big.
 
and i just got it to work, all good! thanks all!!! it said that there may be some damage as i was moving the winar folder, aww well. thanks guys!!!
