File converter

Hi, can someone suggest a file converter to change 3GA files to mp3. The sound files are on a samsung smart phone and i would like to save them as mp3 so i can edit them using Audacity

Bit dubious about this, have you read the reviews this download gets on that site?
But thats the trouble, how do you know what is safe ?

Yeah that software looks dodgy. Sadly most of these 'converter' types are.

There might be a site online that can do it, but if you only need to do it once maybe try a 30 day trail of Adobe Media Encoder: https://www.adobe.com/products/media-encoder.html

If you have FFmpeg installed Audacity should be able to use them. http://manual.audacityteam.org/o/man/faq_installation_and_plug_ins.html#ffdown
