File Download

Quick question. If Im downloading a large file from the net and my computer crashes half way through whats the best way/programme I can use to save what I've already downloaded. This has been a heart breaker. Thanks.

quickpar. but the other person has to run and create repair par files. i just had this happen on my server. 3gig download image file. said there was corruptions. created a repair file 150k. it also depends on the extent of the repairs needed. you do need support at the other end.

I really don't recommend them but using a download manager usually saves what you have already downloaded and can resume at that point.
