file recovery!! formatted 2 times!!

okay!!!! please my brother..... formatted my 1TB external harddrive.... 2 times.... how can i get my files back? it was filled with 700gb+ with jpg's, avi's, and mp3's... please help!! what programs can get my files back?? my life was on that harddrive
 
It my be impossible to get your data back. However do a google search for free data recovery programs and try a few. Why did he format the drive, was he mad at you?

yeah of course, we got into a bit of a tif lol. anways... i already tried like 5 programs none of them have been very successful... ):
 
First of all if he did a complete format using Windows Vista or Windows 7, then that's unrecoverable. However, the complete format of an 1TB external drive would take some couple of hours, unlikely you just sat there and watched (two passes in a row).

In case there was a complete format, the data recovery programs would bring back no data at all. If they all recover different pieces of data, you should keep trying. Different programs use different approaches and get somewhat different results on a quickformatted drive.

okay cool i'll try that program.... i dont think it was a complete format anyways... and hey cool! ur from russia
 
Dude, the same proplem happened for me, I used Kaspersky KryptoStorage on drive D and i was infected by Virus. I have rewrited xp on drive C, where was Kaspersky KryptoStorage folder and now is not possible to open D. Im tryed some tools, but they works fake. If anybody know how to help me please write me private message.
