file recovery help

hi guys

I have done a quick format over the wrong drive and need some pics back

i have kept any files off of it (appart from windows) used recover my files but it doesnt find much

is recover my files the best bet or does anyone reccomend some software?

I hope someone can help or least reply, coz im starting to despair!!!!

i don't believe picture files will be recoverable from a quick format i could be wrong...but you might wanna try a program called handy recovery as well

Software Recommendation

The software that I have been using for situations such as these is Recover Lost Data. ( http://www.stompsoft.com/recoverlostdata.html ) I have used it a few times in the past, mostly for recovering emails, photos and music, and have been quite happy with the results. I know that it costs some money up front but in the end you have to weight out the value of your data to what you thinks it's worth. Hope this gets you back on track.
