Hey, i was just wondering what you guys and gals feel is the best piece of software for downloading files Video, Audio e.t.c

At the moment i use Kazaa Lite, & LimeWire, ive heard bit commet is quite good?

By the way I had Kazaa and got 120 viruses in one day, now I use eMule, a lot better and more files...

Bittorrent and downloading in and of itself is not illegal though downloading of certain copyrighted material is. Many sites rely on torrents to host large files when their servers don't have enough bandwidth. If Alias had said, "what's best for downloading the new Celine Dion album?" then that would be against the rules

bitcomet is for torrents usually. i dont know if they extended the app to p2p now for i dont use it. its a pretty good client although i prefer bitspirit.

limewire pro. about the only one i use. never had any virus problems.

I know the legality of bit torrent, but Alias put

The topic of Downloading music, videos, applications, etc... has been going on since this forum began. There are numerous threads on this topic.. open, closed and deleted.

The debate is never going to end and there is little point in rehashing it over and over again every few days.

Read the forum rules... It is quite clear that even if it is a GRAY AREA, we at the Computer Forum are going to favor the legal system.

Please do not clog up the forum with this topic.
