File type change help!!

Hey i thought this was the closest place to put this to my topic.
I made a slideshow with microsoft photostory then transfered it to Windows DVD Maker to finish it off. The file goes over fine but when i try to add music it says it dosent support that file type!! the type of song file it is a regular CD file type and is only playable on windws media player. How can i change it to a MP3 file type?

So it's a standard audio CD? Honestly, I try to stay away from Windows Media Player. I'm pretty sure it can extract music from audio CDs, but here's a free program that will extract songs as MP3s (or other formats)

Ok i downloaded that deepburner now i cant find out how to change it from a Audio CD format to a MP3 format? thanks
