File Wont Let Me Delete It (Vista)

I did research online to try to fix this problem. I found one option of opening command prompt as administrator and using attrib -r -a -s -h? I have absolutely NO idea what this is or how to properly type it in. I have tried the way the website shows but when I enter it I get "parameter format not correct". Can anyone give me an exact mirror example of how you are supposed to type in this command when deleting a file. When it comes to command prompt I am very retarded.

Original Issue: My original issue for why I am going through all of this, is that a program named "Iminent" [www.iminent.com] somehow got installed onto my computer. I did not do this and I am the only user of this computer so it probably came along with another program I downloaded. Anyway, it will NOT let me get rid of it! I went into program files x86 (I have vista) and found the "Iminent" folder but when I got to delete it, it wont let me. It tells me "You need permission to perform this action". I AM the administrator and the only user how do I need permission?? It is a read only file. I tried changing it, it wont change. Please help me, this file is ruining my computer I think it may have/be a virus because ever since its been on my computer (few days now) programs havent been working properly, this is so very frustrating

Please do the following if you think you are infected, which you very well may be. I've looked at the website and most likely you are infected, even though they say its malware/virus free. Anything like that usually comes bundled with crap.

Please download Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware from here or here and save it to your desktop.
  • Double-click mbam-setup.exe and follow the prompts to install the program.
  • At the end, be sure a checkmark is placed next to
    • Update Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware
    • and Launch Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware
  • then click Finish.
  • If an update is found, it will download and install the latest version. Please keep updating until it says you have the latest version.
  • Once the program has loaded, select Perform quick scan, then click Scan.
  • When the scan is complete, click OK, then Show Results to view the results.
  • Be sure that everything is checked, and click Remove Selected.
  • A log will be saved automatically which you can access by clicking on the Logs tab within Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware

If for some reason Malwarebytes will not install or run please download and run Rkill.scr, Rkill.exe, or Rkill.com but DO NOT reboot the system and then try installing or running Malwarebytes. If Rkill (which is a black box) appears and then disappears right away or you get a message saying rkill is infected, keep trying to run rkill until it over powers the infection and temporarily kills it. Once a log appears on the screen, you can try running malwarebytes or downloading other programs.

Download the HijackThis installer from here.
Run the installer and choose Install, indicating that you accept the licence agreement. The installer will place a shortcut on your desktop and launch HijackThis.

Click Do a system scan and save a logfile

Most of what HijackThis lists will be harmless or even essential, don't fix anything yet.

Post the logfile that HijackThis produces along with the Malwarebytes Anti-Malware log
