Files appear after I delete them

I'm using limewire, and since I downloaded this one software file (which i regret now) all these files appear in the shared files folder. I delete them all, but everytime I open limewire now they appear there again. What can I do to fix this??

well, it seems your computer is hunted.

Or another think i can think of is that they are files being downloaded by others from your computer, so everytime they connect with you, they try to get it.

Ok for limewire you don't have to share anything
Go to tools and then options in the menu and then go to the sharing tab
This is the folders which you want to share, if you remove these folders then you don't need to share anything

i stopped sharing files, and still everytime i restart limewire, the files appear again.

Are they like zip files that come up? I had some stuff called win32.purol or something like that. I'd delete them and they'd come right back. My anti virus would find them but it wouldn't remove them. I finally found a tool by Sophos that fried them.

Limewire works based on everyone that downloads a file, then makes it available to upload. If your just going to download - you defeat the purpose. try changing your "shared" folder - or use shortcuts instead.
