Files copied to flash drive arent.. working?

They appear full file size but they cannot be rendered or it says the files are damaged, I think 10% are working. I had issues where nothing was being copied across at all on my 128 gb drive formatted in exfat, I reformated in ntfs and this problem is still here, can see the filesize and contents this time though. What can I do, is it just a dodgy flash drive? it is brand new!

Thanks

Running atm, the write speed is terrible 1,5 mb/sec. Was I supposed to delete the disks contents before the test though? There was a seek count option to enter a numerical value into in the I suppose later version of the program I downloaded, I left it at default, not sure if that makes a difference.

Ok, a data verify fail and slooooow speeds. So its a fake or reaaaaly bad one right? I am very very dissapointed with.. AMAZON

I'd open a return case for Amazon. It might depend on the subvendor you bought from through them, but Amazon are pretty good about customer service in these situations.

Out of curiousity, was there any particular capacity border it started failing at ? (2 GB, 4 GB, 8 GB, etc).
1.5 MB/sec is far too slow for really any reputable USB stick.

Yeah, I'd be opening an RMA or whatever Amazons process is and return that hunk of garbage!! I hate that these crappy off-brands can even be sold on usually reputable vendor websites!

I wouldn't blame Amazon, per se, but they ought to be made aware of the pure excrement being sold under their banner!
