Files, Folders and Fury...

For ages I've been trying to find a quick and easy way to select files in one clump that are distributed amongst many folders, by specifying the "containing" directory for all the files concerned.

It's actually iTunes that I've set up to arrange all the mp3's neatly in seperate artist folders etc, but when it comes to wanting to select all the files only (i.e. extracting them all out of their folders and pasting them in the destination folder) I can't find an easy way.

Any ideas?

if its only one file type you're looking for you could go to the root folder of all your music and do a search for *.mp3 or *.m4a whichever it is. then just select them all and do a cut and paste.
