but i'm thinking of buying from monarchcomputer.com - their pre-tested and ready-to-run combo deals look pretty nice - even though they cost a bit more

think i should do that?

i rather not put my mobo + cpu together anyways

Pixel Shader 3.0 is required in next-generation games. ATI only has SM2.0 which they call Smart shader HD.
