ive been using free trials to free trials anti-malwares and free anti-malwares to free anti-malwares all this time but still not 100% safe.

Finally decided to actually buying some. If im buying for it.... I want it to be worth it and buying only the powerfulest of the powerfulest ones.

Norton is out of my sight as last time it detect a virus but cannot remove it while Virus Chaser can. Been hearding lots of props to nod32..... but dot know.

can anyone recommend me the most powerfulest one? and worth to pay for it?

seeking one for:
- 3rd party firewall
- anti spyware (with real-time protection)
- anti virus

im tired of getting trojans, worms virus and tired of reformatting....... Im going full-fledge defensive mode this time...... absolute defense!

if u reccomend any protection feel free to post up. also im not going to only use jus for scan at certain time and disable auto startup.... this time I will stick on one anti-virus, one anti-spyware and one firewall and will not disable start at startup.

I dont like avg. I dont like avast. it dont detect anything that I know I had virus.

might go for Virus Chaser and mcafee internet security suite. anymore rec feel free to let me know.

Paying for things is so over rated.

Lol.

Avg free is going to do every thing a paid ver is going to do anyways.

Kent.

eeew, mcafee? I'd stay away from that if I were you. Used to have it on my dads pc as it shipped with one year free subscription. And all I can say is yuck! Munched way too many system resources and missed one or two things I found with free online scanners. One of my mates also had it, same problem again.. AVG managed to fix about 4 pieces of malware not even detected by mcafee! If you're going to buy one, get Kaspersky! Bitdefender is quite good too, but gives too many false positives in my opinion...

If you want to buy protection i recomend ESET NOD32 Anti-Virus.

its brilliant, uses not much system resources and is very efficient.

This is a reliable list to use for reference. http://www.av-comparatives.org/

They are independent comparatives so they don't make any money or rely on the companies in any way. They just do testing and share the results. Hope it helps.

ill check it out tqtq
