This was my first build and it took me about 6 hours to put all the hardware together, but it took a couple days of BSOD troubleshooting before it became stable. Now that it is, here are a few pics. Specs in sig.

More Pictures

Sorry about the poor quality, I'm in dire need of a new camera :o

WTF is everyone going for the Phenom II??

They are worse than most Core 2 Duo's!

Other then that, looks good.

That thing will crush a Core 2 Duo...not even a chance the Intel would stand.

Great rig, I am thinking about doing an AMD/ATI build next summer.

There, that's from maximumpc. The 9550 is better in most parts. But it costs more.

still can't beleive i said core 2 duo...I think my brother accidently told me that so I really shoulda checked first, huh?

Only problem I've had so far is with the motherboard, the layout sucks to the point where its crossfire capable, but not probable. If I were to add another 4870 it would cover up all the sata ports :(

I'm also having trouble updating the bios so it properly recognizes the cpu, other than that I'm thrilled with this computer. Heres a few more pictures, hopefully better quality and thanks for all the comments everyone.

I still have a bit of cable management left, but overall I think it looks pretty good.

try getting some 90 degree sata connectors, you should be able to use some more sata ports that way

Right..lol I totally forgot about those :o

Well at least I now know I'm not restricted to one graphics card

Edit: I'm also considering buying a CPU cooler, anyone have any suggestions?

The stock cooler is doing a relatively decent job, which surprised me, I didn't even bother wasting any arctic silver 5 on it, but I'm getting temps of about 39-40C at idle and around 52C under load, ambient temp is 21-22C
