Well at least someone has been able to get their hands on the FX60! :P I'm still waiting for my turn here. Great to see it running on your system anyway. That beats the other advices seen ealier. Now show us it's stuff. :D

i got it at alittle over 2.8ghz x 2. scored 2355 on 3dmark06 with an agp card. i will add that i got a 2276 with my old fx-57. everything else is the same. i only gained not even 150 points by upgrading from a 2.6ghz to dual 2.4ghz. almost doesn't seem worth it. even oc'd to a 2.85ghz won't give me a 200 point increase.

Of COURSE your 3dMark06 score isnt going to go up by much. At the end, when you get your score, click 'advanced' or something to bring up a breakdown of the score. 2 of the tests will be GPU-heavy, and will make up most of the score. One test will be CPU-heavy, but will contribute little to the overall score.

When you run 3DMark, breakdown the scores so you can see what tests your overclock is improving.

Or, just run SuperPi, 1mil. Quickest way to see the improvement you're getting.

thanks, that would be a good idea, except i don't have my fx-57 to compare with anymore. i wish i would've known about those before the switch. i wonder how oblivion will run now? i'm gonna try it. out 'till tomorrow!!

That is soo true :) i only reached my #dmark score because of the grafic's.. my CPU score is only low in the 1800's
