Hello Everyone,
Apologies that my first post is asking for help, but I really do not have the skils or know-how to answer it myself.
I have a laptop which should be pretty good for gaming, except for the fact it has a 1.9GHz quad core processor. The games I'm looking to play don't really support multi core processors, so I'm only really getting 1.9GHz out of it. Therefore, I'm looking to change to something higher. I have a HP Pavilion G6 2230sa and a list of processors compatible with G6s, found here:

The IT guy at work says it should indeed be possible to change the processor and recommends the AMD Phenom II N660 processor (3.0 GHz, 2MB L2 cache, 1333 MHz, 3.6 GT/s), Dual 35W. I can find AMD Phenom II N660 3.0GHz on eBay, but the bus speeds are all different. I can find 1800MHz, but not 1333MHz. Is this a problem? I.e. will it actually work if I were to buy one and get it installed in my laptop?
Many many thanks and humble apologies for my ignorance!
