Fingerprint Scanner for Computers

I just saw APC's latest thing: a biometric fingerprint scanner. The little device called the BioPod Biometric password manager (apc.com) is only $50! . I'm looking at one to buy

becareful, most of those only work in windows, and don't really keep your data that secure, it's not like it completly locks your computer, most of the time there is a workaround.

I'm saving right now to put build a mini pc to install in my truck and was thing about putting one of those on my stearing wheel somewhere pointless? yea, cool? I think so

That would be pretty sweet -- just make sure you put it somewhere where the sensor cant get wrecked
