finished building....nothing

hey guys just finished my building my new rig.
and i have got problems.

when i push the power button it turns on but nothing is showing up on the monitor :(

i am told there is a read light coming from my video card.

also when i turn it on the post led shows F6 and after that E8 01 62

any ideas will be greatly appreciated :)
 
Ok check your manual for the code it stops on during boot.
And a problem I had was I put the memory in slots 2,4,6 on my board and when using three sticks they need to be in slots 1,3,5.
Check little things like that.

wow..... i looked at that figure for like 5 minutes making sure i dont put them in wrong and guess what..... i do lol

and now i see my post and stuff on the monitor now time to add keyboard and mouse and install that os :)

I took me so long to figure out I did that.
It gave me a turn on l2 cache error and I kept thinking wth.
Glad it works
