Finished my PC now problem with windows

So I finally got my computer done... I will post some pics up this week. Anyways... When I turn on my computer there is an icon on my toolbar that pops up and says 30 days left for activation. Now it says 29. When I go to activate windows it says windows has already been activated... whats going on? thanks

No... its a copy that came with my last computer

Thats the problem, it's already registered to your old computer. You'll have to phone Microsoft and give them details, and they should unregister the product number for you, so you can use it.

Did you forget to activate Windows? naaa.... One tip for reinstalling Windows without losing the activation code could also be used to help with getting rid of the annoyance there. But a fresh install on a new build usually works better if you are running the same drive?
