Firefox and Email links

Here's a thought. I use all online email clients, so the "mailto" link is fairly pointless for me. Does anyone know of an extension or way to alter Firefox so when you click an email address, it simply copies it. I know you can right-click and "Copy Email address" but why not make it slightly easier

Perhaps I should look into programming a bit more and make my own extension, if one's not already available

Don't know of any extension email related. I use gmail online, by installing google talk clicking on mailto links will open my gmail account.
