FireFox , Cannot Create Direct Show prob.

Whenever i try to view a video in a website... that should play there or at least download it ... it says cannot create direct show ...
in the past i found a page that had to dl some small things ( i dont know maybe codecs or smth) and that was fixed .. but now cozi formated the hd i dont have those on ... (BTW i have flash,realplayer,quicktime,and stuff)

do you have the lastest version of that JAVA thing? beucase i needed to download that before i could view any videos in firefox

what verison of direct x do you have? not sure if direct x is the problem, but it sounds like it

i have the latest java and directx9 ......
but i told u what i think was .. any help ?

Re-install firefox and see what happens
